Upwing does not collect, hold, or transfer any funds. Scholarship awards and any sponsor contributions are arranged and paid directly between the organization or sponsor and the student, outside this platform. Upwing is not a party to, and takes no responsibility for, those payments, any tax treatment, or any promise to pay.

You keep ownership of everything you submit. You grant Upwing a licence to store, display, and process your content solely to operate the service — including, with your consent, AI processing of documents (a human always reviews the result). You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and rights to everything you upload, and you must not upload another person's information without their permission.

Some content is publicbecause an organization chooses to publish it — for example scholar names, an organization's profile, mission, and charter. Your application details and uploaded documents are private: they are shared only with the organization you applied to, its reviewers, and the processing needed to run the service. Organizations must use applicant data only to assess and administer their scholarships.

We make reasonable, good-faith efforts to keep private information secure, but we cannot and do not guarantee the security, privacy, or availability of any data. You use the platform at your own risk. Do not upload anything you are not comfortable trusting to a best-effort, volunteer-run non-profit service.

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it at any time.

Selection, awards, disbursement, and any sponsorship are entirely between students, organizations, and sponsors. Upwing only facilitates introductions and workflow — it does not vouch for, verify, or guarantee any organization, sponsor, or applicant, or the truth of any information they provide. Registration and tax-status details shown for an organization (such as 12A/80G) are self-declared by that organization; verify them yourself before relying on them or giving money.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Upwing and the individuals who operate it will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, income, or opportunity, arising from your use of — or inability to use — the service, or from your dealings with any other user.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Upwing and the individuals who operate it from and against any claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your content, your use of the service, your conduct, your breach of these terms, or your dealings with any other user.

Don't misuse the platform: no fraud, impersonation, uploading unlawful or infringing content, scraping, or attempts to disrupt or gain unauthorised access. We may suspend or remove accounts or content that breach these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Continued use of the platform after any change to these terms means you accept the change.
